Several parents, youth, ministers, and members attended career day. The youth staff wanted to continue with the theme Building God’s Family with L.I.F.E. The staff wanted to focus on the E for educate as we continue to teach them God’s word, but share with them positive things that will beneficial to them as they continue through life. The objective of the career day was to teach, edify, and encourage. As well to show our youth the importance of education and allow them to see the many talents God has given the members of the Bird Street congregation. As the youth continue to grow into adulthood we want to encourage them to begin thinking about decisions that can affect them long term, and lessons and experiences each of us have learned. It is our prayer that our youth will continue to be all they can be through Christ.
